The Boston Celtics will be without their all-star point guard Isaiah Thomas for the next two games, CBSSports.com reports.
Thomas suffered a bone bruise in his right knee during Boston’s 117-104 win over Minnesota last night.
The Celtics are currently trying to secure the second spot in the Eastern conference. They hold a 1.5 game lead on Washington and a 3.5 game lead on Toronto. Losing Thomas for the weekend might make things a little difficult for the C’s, but with Brooklyn and Philadelphia on the schedule, they might be able to win both of those games without their leading scorer.
