Zach Randolph had his best night as a King, Sacramento beat the New Orleans Pelicans 116-109 in overtime. The Kings played one of their most complete games of the season and got their first win over DeMarcus Cousins since he was traded in February.

Randolph continued his recent tear, posting 35 points and 13 rebounds. He brought his long ball with him tonight, hitting five of nine shots from downtown.

The game was a bank and forth battle for most of the night, including a game-tying three from Buddy Hield to send the game into overtime. Hield continued his strong play of late with 18 points and seven rebounds.

By the time the game reached bonus play, it was all Sacramento. Randolph got it going with a very tough three from the corner, and Frank Mason III put it away with a tricky juke and floater.

Cousins continued his MVP campaign for New Orleans and posted 38 points and 11 rebounds on 30 shots. No other Pelican took more than 12 shots.

The Kings have been a much improved road squad in recent weeks. After starting the season 1-9 on the road, they’ve won three of their last five.

De’Aaron Fox scored 14 points, and Mason added 12 points and five rebounds off the bench. Sacramento now sits at 8-17 and returns home to face off against Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
