Zach Randolph’s big night propels the Sacramento Kings to a 107-106 win over the Chicago Bulls. Randolph bullied the Bulls’ frontcourt all night long for season highs of 25 points and 13 rebounds.

The game was back-and-forth with 22 lead changes, before Sacramento finally held onto a lead in the last five minutes of the game. Coach Dave Joerger went with a largely veteran lineup to end out this close game with Randolph, Vince Carter, and Garrett Temple. Rookies De’Aaron Fox and Bogdan Bogdanovic were also on the floor, but Fox was the only King with no professional experience prior to this season.

Bogdanovic had a strong night with 19 points, including several key shots in the fourth quarter. His play has been a much improved since he started coming off the bench a few weeks ago.

The Bulls had six players in double scoring figures, with Jerian Grant leading the way with 17 points. They kept the game very close and led by as much as nine in the second quarter, despite only having three wins on the season.

Sacramento picked up just its third road win of the season. The team’s play has been much improved over the past few weeks, and they’ve won four of their last ten games.

Temple scored 13 points and Willie Cauley-Stein added 10 points and five assists off the bench. Sacramento now has a 7-15 record and travels to Milwaukee for a rematch with the Bucks on Saturday night.
