Michele Roberts re-elected as NBPA Executive Director


The NBPA has re-elected Michele Roberts to remain its Executive Director for another 4-year term. The vote was unanimous.

Her role as far as league duties concern include a lot of work on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the owners of the 30 NBA franchises. She will voice the players’ opinions along with NBPA President Chris Paul to create the new CBA. She will work alongside Paul until at least 2021, as Paul was re-elected as president in 2017.

“I am honored that the players have put their trust in me for another four years,” said Roberts. “It has been a pleasure to work on their behalf and I believe we as a union have accomplished a lot in addition to negotiating the latest collective bargaining agreement. I look forward to continuing to serve the best interests of the players by using my voice and my position to advocate on their behalf.”
