The Pittsburgh Steelers shocked the NFL world by acquiring D.K. Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks for their second-round pick in this year’s draft. The Seahawks and Steelers are also swapping 2025 sixth and seventh-round picks.

When the trade finalizes, the Steelers will sign Metcalf to a new five-year, $150 million deal.

The Seahawks have already parted ways with Tyler Lockett and Geno Smith this offseason. Metcalf now joins that group.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero were first on the news, beating Adam Schefter by seconds.

Quick Reactions

Steeler fans celebrated the signing, shocked and excited about the trade. Other fans joked about George Pickens and Metcalf’s clashing personalities.

Here are some of the best reactions from fans.
