Chicago Bears training camp has featured plenty of competition, but five players have stood out the most heading into the 2026 season. Some are coming off impressive statistical seasons, while others are trying to establish themselves in new or expanded roles. Here are the five Bears who have caught the most attention.
5. Jahdae Walker
Walker is another receiver who has given the Bears plenty to think about. He saw limited opportunities during his rookie season, but when his number was called, he produced. In 2025, he caught six passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. That’s an average of 14.5 yards per reception, with a long catch of 25 yards.
Walker finished the season particularly strong. He surged with late-season momentum that has carried into the offseason, and Walker has continued to make plays during camp. With roster spots at receiver up for grabs, Walker has a legitimate opportunity to earn a bigger role in 2026.
4. Kaden Davis
Davis is a different kind of standout. He doesn’t have a large statistical resume unlike other Bears. That’s exactly what makes his training-camp performance so interesting.
Davis is competing for an opportunity in a crowded receiver room, and he’s making the most of his chance. His ability to make difficult catches and create plays downfield has made him a player worth watching. His previous NFL experience is limited, but he does have four career kickoff returns for 135 yards, including a 40-yard return. The next step is turning his strong camp into meaningful offensive production.
3. D’Andre Swift
Swift enters camp following the best rushing season of his career. Swift ran 1,087 yards and nine touchdowns in 2025, becoming the first Bears running back to surpass 1,000 rushing yards since 2020. He averaged 4.3 yards per carry and added another 299 receiving 0n 34 receptions. That gave Swift 1,386 total yards from scrimmage.
His versatility has continued to stand out during camp. Swift can be used as a traditional running back, receiver or weapon in space, giving the Bears plenty of options when designing the offense. If he can stay healthy, Swift should remain one of the focal points of Chicago’s offense.
2. Colston Loveland
Loveland was already one of the Bears’ most productive offensive players as a rookie, and he has looked ready for a bigger role. Loveland led Chicago in receiving in 2025, finishing with 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns. His 12.3 yards per reception showed that he wasn’t simply being used as a short-yardage safety valve. He also recorded a 58-yard reception, demonstrating the big-play ability he brings to the offense.
With another year of experience and more familiarity with Caleb Williams, Loveland could be one of the biggest breakout candidates on the Bears’ roster.
1. Caleb Williams
Williams has looked like a quarterback ready to take another step in his development. The numbers from 2025 provide plenty of reason for optimism. Williams completed 330 of 558 passes for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. He also added 388 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Perhaps most importantly, Williams cut his sack total dramatically. After being sacked 68 times as a rookie, he was taken down only 24 times in 2025. Now, Williams enters his third season with more experience and another year in the offense. His training camp performance has only increased expectations for what he can accomplish in 2026.
Final Thoughts
The Bears have plenty of reasons to be excited about their offense heading into the 2026 season.
Caleb Williams is coming off a 3,942-yard, 27-touchdown season. Colston Loveland led the team with 713 receiving yards as a rookie. D’Andre Swift surpassed 1,000 rushing yards while contributing nearly 300 receiving yards. Then there are players like Kaden Davis and Jahdae Walker, who are trying to turn strong training-camp performances into large roles.
If these five continue performing at this level, they could play major roles in determining how successful the Bears are in 2026.
