Chicago Bulls Young Players Want More From Wade

on

After the Chicago Bulls team practice on Saturday, Taj Gibson spoke about the team’s recent controversy among each other.  Gibson spoke about one of the problems that were bothering some of the younger players, and that is Dwyane Wade’s lack of practice.  “That’s one of the things in the meeting: Young guys just want a little bit more from him.  And he brung it today. He pushed the young guys. And that’s a sign that that meeting did a little something.”

Apparently the Chicago Bulls had a team meeting on Friday to discuss the media behavior of Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, and Rajon Rondo.  Butler and Wade questioned their team’s heart and whether they cared about winning or not.  Rondo would post a comment on Instagram standing up for his teammates specifically the younger guys.

When asked about the practice situation, Wade had this to say.  “I’m 35, I’m not practicing every day. I mean, that’s very clear. Everyone has their own things.”

Coach Fred Hoiberg said Wade has been practicing more often, but has been on a practice restriction.
